The article describes how to view incoming and outgoing data of IPsec VPN from GUI.

Scope

FortiGate 6.4 and onwards.

Solution

In the firmware version 6.2, it is necessary to go to Monitor > IPsec Monitor to view the incoming and outgoing data via GUI as shown in the screenshot below:

In the firmware version 6.2, it is necessary to go to Monitor > IPsec Monitor to view the incoming and outgoing data via GUI

From version 6.4, it can be viewed from VPN > IPsec Tunnels, select the status of VPN. For example, the ‘Up’ status is shown below:
