Windows 11 supports hidden files across the system to hide files that you don’t want to be visible when browsing through folders, which mostly offers one-click controls to show and hide hidden content.

Solution: How to unhide files or the content of folders in Windows File Explorer

Step 1: Open a folder and File Explorer is open or open the File Explorer from the taskbar.

Step 2: Click on the View in the Menu bar.

Step 3: Select the Show > Hidden items.

Step 4: All hidden files and folders will become visible.

Note: Repeat the same steps as above to deselect the Hidden items option in order to hide the hidden files and folders again.
