“Aw, Snap! Something went wrong while displaying this webpage” error keeps showing after upgrade to Google Chrome 79. Google confirmed that the problem related to the Chrome Renderer Code integrity feature. Apply below workaround to fix the bug.
- Create a Google Chrome shortcut on your desktop.
- Right-click the shortcut on desktop and select Properties.
- Navigate to the target field and append the following command at the end of the target field:
–disable-features=RendererCodeIntegrity
- Click OK to save the changes and relaunch the browser.
Additionally, Google recommends to update anti-virus and restart your system to prevent the “Aw, Snap” crashes.
