I am encountering an error message when attempting to open Microsoft Team, which states “You’re missing out! Ask your admin to enable Microsoft Teams.” (see attached picture).
Could someone kindly provide me with step-by-step instructions for resolving this issue? Additionally, is Microsoft Teams a paid or free application?

The cause of this error in Microsoft Teams is the instance when a user is licensed, but the Microsoft Teams application has not been assigned to them.
Follow below step-by-step instruction to fix this error in Microsoft Teams.
Step 1: Log in to Microsoft 365 admin center.
Step 2: Click on the Users on the left sidebar.
Step 3: Click on the Active users from the Users submenu.
Step 4: Locate the user with this problem.
Step 5: Open the user card.
Step 6: Select the Licenses and apps tab.
Step 7: Go to the Apps section.
Step 8: Find the Microsoft Teams option in the App section.
Step 9: Enable the Microsoft Teams for the user.
