Solution

Identify the device causing interference and take the necessary action, such as removing the device from the RF environment.

Follow the steps below to check the spectrum usage on FortiGate (FortiAPs Managed by FortiGate):

Step 1: Log in to the FortiGate GUI.

Step 2: Select Wifi and Switch Controller.

Step 3: Select Managed FortiAPs.

Step 4: Double-click on the specific device which is reporting high channel utilization.

Step 5: Select Diagnostics and Tools under Additional Information.

Step 6: Under Spectrum Analysis, select the 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz band, then select Channels and start.
