Rollout Schedule
Public Preview (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out on early August 2026 and expect to complete by mid-August 2026.
Impact on your organization
Administrators can select All tenants > Agents in the Microsoft 365 admin center to:
- View a consolidated agent inventory across connected tenants.
- Add custom agents to the inventory.
- Install agents in all eligible connected tenants or a selected set.
- Block agents or change their availability across selected tenants.
- Review tenant-specific permissions and, when licensed, agent risk and activity.
- Use the tenant switcher to enter a connected tenant through delegated access without maintaining a separate administrator account in that tenant.
Viewing and managing agents across connected tenants requires no additional licenses. Viewing agent risk and activity requires a Microsoft Agent 365 license assigned to the end user.
Both partners and enterprises use Granular Delegated Admin Privileges (GDAP) to authorize cross-tenant administration. Partners configure GDAP relationships in Partner Center. Enterprises configure them through Microsoft Entra Tenant Governance.
Available tenants and actions depend on the active tenant relationship and the administrator’s delegated role. See the linked documentation for detailed prerequisites, supported roles, tenant-linking requirements, capabilities, and licensing information.
Action Required / Recommendations
Review your tenant relationships and delegated role assignments. Partners should verify their GDAP configuration in Partner Center. Enterprises should verify their relationships and GDAP configuration in Microsoft Entra Tenant Governance.
