July 31, 2026, 6:42 PM PST: We are working to restore search functionality in the Microsoft Update Catalog following an issue affecting Catalog search operations. Users might be unable to successfully search for software updates, drivers, and hotfixes. Users might also experience search failures, slower-than-expected response times, timeouts, or incomplete search results when using the Catalog website.
Mitigation and recovery actions are currently in progress, and service availability is expected to improve as additional recovery efforts are completed.
Customers experiencing this issue are advised to retry Catalog search operations later. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
