We are announcing the ability to configure offline profile using the FetchXML editor in Power Apps. This feature will reach general availability on April 10, 2026.

How does this affect me?

This feature improves the maker workflow by allowing direct control of query logic used for offline profiles—helping you finetune filters without leaving the app-building experience.

You can open the FetchXML editor directly within Power Apps Studio, making it easier to customize data filters for offline profiles without switching tools. To access the FetchXML editor:

  1. Open the offline profile editor in your canvas app or model-driven app.
  2. Select the Filter option for an entity.
  3. Under Related rows or Custom filter, choose Edit FetchXML or View FetchXML to open the editor.

What action do I need to take?

This message is for awareness, and no action is required.
