We are introducing a built-in prerequisite check experience within the Configuration repository for Electronic Reporting (ER) in Dynamics 365 Finance. This feature will reach general availability on March 13, 2026.

Before importing an ER configuration, users can verify that the system meets all required application version, build, and dependent configuration prerequisites. With this feature, users can proactively confirm compatibility and avoid failed import attempts using the following capabilities:
- Prerequisites FastTab – Added a new FastTab to the Configuration repository workspace.
- Check prerequisites button – This action validates:
