We are announcing the ability to delay settlements from journal posting for Dynamics 365 Finance. This feature will reach general availability on January 26, 2025.

This feature includes the following capabilities:
- Payments are no longer blocked by settlement errors: Valid payments post successfully, even if settlement fails.
- Enhanced cash flow visibility and reporting: Payments are reflected immediately, while settlements can be managed separately.
