Introduction

We will retire the Experience Insights (Preview) page from the Microsoft 365 admin center on January 19, 2026. This change is part of our ongoing efforts to simplify and consolidate experiences related to usage, adoption, sentiment, and feedback across the admin center. Instead of Experience Insights, we recommend using the following experiences available in the left navigation of the Microsoft 365 admin center:

  • Copilot
  • Reports
  • Product Feedback

These experiences will continue to evolve, offering enhanced data and workflows to support admin success.

When this will happen

This change will take effect on January 19, 2026.

How this affects your organization

Who is affected: Admins who currently access the Experience Insights (Preview) page will no longer be able to do so after the retirement date.

What will happen:

  • The Experience Insights (Preview) page will be removed from the Microsoft 365 admin center.
  • Help article access data will no longer be available. This data provided visibility into which help articles were being clicked by users within your organization. There is currently no replacement signal for this specific data point.
  • No other data loss is expected beyond this signal.
  • Alternative experiences (Copilot, Reports, Product Feedback) remain available to meet similar needs.

What you can do to prepare

No admin action is required. We recommend:

  • Informing relevant users about this change.
  • Updating internal documentation or training materials that reference Experience Insights or help article access data.
  • Reviewing alternative experiences such as Reports, Copilot, and Product Feedback. For more information, visit Microsoft 365 admin center documentation.
