Microsoft Message

Starting February 16, 2026, new Finance and operations apps customers trying to create a new cloud implementation project in Dynamics Lifecycle Services (LCS) will instead be routed to Power Platform admin center (PPAC), for the following products:

  • Finance
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Project Operations

Commerce, Dynamics 365 Finance + Operations (on-premises), and AX 2012 upgrade projects will still leverage Lifecycle Services.

How does this affect me?

New Lifecycle Services cloud implementation projects will no longer be able to be created, as customers trying to do so will be routed to PPAC to start the implementation process.

There is no impact on existing customers’ LCS projects, nor their environments in Lifecycle Services. Migration capabilities will come in the future but are not yet available.

What action do I need to take?

This message is for awareness, and no action is required.
