Fortune is back in TFT Set 11 Inkborn Fables, a fan-favorite Econ trait that rewards players for taking risks. Fortune gives you gold and other prizes for losing rounds, but you lose the bonus if you win. This makes Fortune a tricky trait to play, as you need to balance your losses and wins carefully.
Inkborn Fables introduces a new mechanic called Encounters, along with 59 champions and 27 traits. But Fortune is the most thrilling part of Set 11, as it has a new twist from its previous version in Set 4/4.5.

How does Fortune work in TFT Set 11?
Fortune works like this: You lose rounds and earn luck. You roll a die and get a Festival in a few rounds. You can roll again or cash out your rewards. You can get more luck, health, and dice rolls by having more Fortune champions on the board.
The Fortune champions in Inkborn Fables are Kobuko, Teemo, Tristana, Zoe, and Annie. Fortune is a high-risk, high-reward trait, so you need to play it smart.
How to cash out with Fortune
You can’t cash out with Fortune by winning rounds anymore. You need to roll a die when you have the Fortune trait active. The die tells you when the Festival will happen. The Festival lets you choose to roll again or cash out. If you have seven Fortune champions, you can roll a new die at each Festival.
Fortune breakpoints in TFT Set 11
The Fortune breakpoints are three, five, and seven. These are the numbers of Fortune champions you need to unlock different abilities.
Breakpoint Fortune ability Three Get more luck for losing fights. Five Heal two health at the start of each round. Seven Roll a new die at each Festival.
The best thing about the new Fortune trait is the healing you get with five Fortune champions. This can help you survive longer and cash out bigger. You can try the Fortune trait in Inkborn Fables on PBE servers from March 5.
