  2. In the Command Prompt workspace, type ‘sc delete AGService’ and press Enter.
  3. Manually delete the Adobe GCClient by navigating to ‘C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\AdobeGCClient’ and deleting the ‘AdobeGCClient’ folder.
  4. Restart PC and launch the Adobe program. You should now be able to use the Adobe software without any errors.

Method 4: Removing Adobe Genuine Software Integrity Service on MAC 2018

  1. Open the Finder app next to the Apple Icon.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the ‘Go’ option and select ‘Go to Folder’ from the menu box.

  3. Navigate to the extracted folder of the zip archive by typing ‘cd C:\Users\bj\Downloads\Win_AdobeGenuineCleaner’ and pressing Enter. (Please replace the path according to zip folder’s location, and don’t forget to leave a space behind ‘cd’.)
  4. Next, type the command ‘AdobeGenuineCleaner.exe –UninstallUserDriven’ and press Enter.
  5. Once done, you can successfully remove the Adobe Genuine Software Integrity Service.

For macOS Users

  1. Download and extract the macOS AGS Cleaner zip archive.
  2. Open the Terminal Prompt and change the directory to the extracted folder of the zip archive.
  3. Execute the command ‘sudo ./AdobeGenuineCleaner UserDriven’.
  4. Once done, you can successfully remove the Adobe Genuine Software Integrity Service.
