Are you tired of watching your WhatsApp stuck on “Preparing to restore messages”? This annoying issue can happen when you’re setting up your account, and it means the app can’t retrieve your data from the cloud or local storage. But don’t worry, we’ve got your back.
The main culprits behind this problem are usually:
- Spotty network connection
- Corrupted backup files
- Outdated WhatsApp version
- Wrong app settings
We ran into this issue ourselves, so we tested some solutions on our Infinix phone. Even if you’ve got a different device, like a Samsung or Xiaomi, these tips should still do the trick. You might just need to look for settings with slightly different names.
