This article describes how to resolve the error ‘Unable to connect to Das’ after upgrading FortiClient EMS from v6.4.x to v7.0.x.

How to fix unable to connect Das presented when logging into EMS console

Step 1: Access to EMS Windows Server, Start Menu -> Microsoft SQL Server 2017 -> SQL Server Configuration Manager.

Step 2: In SQL Server Configuration Manager, on the left pane, select SQL Server Network Configuration -> Protocols for FCEMS -> TCP/IP .

Step 3: In the second tab ‘TCP/IP’, scroll down to the bottom and check if under ‘IPAll’, ‘TCP Dynamic Ports’ is blank, and ‘TCP Port’ is 1433.

Step 4: Apply the changes. Open Task Manager -> Services tab, ‘Right-click’ on MSSQL$FCEMS service and Restart service.

Step 5: Check if the FCEMS_Das service is in Running status:
