Solution 1: Restart Steam/PC
Restart Steam and then try to launch the game again. If that doesn’t help then simply restart PC and then check again.

Solution 2: Run Bodycam as an Admi
- Open Steam.
- Right-click on Bodycam and click on Manage > Browse local files.
- It will open the game installation folder. The path is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Bodycam.
- Right-click on Bodycam.exe file and select Properties.
- Go to Compatibility tab and check “Run this program as an administrator“.
- Then click on Apply and OK.
- Now, launch the game from installation folder, from here itself and check problem fixed or not.
Solution 3: Modify compatibility settings of Bodycam
- If running the game as admin doesn’t work, then check for “Disable fullscreen optimization“.
- Also check for “Run this program in compatibility mode” for Windows 8 or Windows 7.
- Click on Apply and OK.
- Now, launch the game from the installation folder and check.
Solution 4: Allow Bodycam through firewall/antivirus
- In Windows Search type “Windows Security” and click on it.
- Click on “Firewall and network protection” and then clikc on “Allow an app through firewall“.
- Click on “Change settings” and then click on “Allow another app“.
- Then click on Browse button, browse to Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Bodycam folder.
- Select Bodycam.exe and add it.
- After adding it, make sure both Private and Public is checked.
- Also, allow Bodycam through antivirus program or disable it for a while.
Solution 5: Close conflicting/unnecessary programs
- Disconnect external USB drive, mouse, disconnect additional joystick/controllers, multiple monitor connected to PC.
- Unplug the Logitech or Thrustmaster racing wheel.
- End the task for Razer Synapse or MSI Dragon Center from Task Manager.
- Close all of your tabs to free up RAM and relaunch the game.
Solution 6: Modify game launch options
- Open Steam.
- Right-click on Bodycam game and select Properties.
- In the Launch Options, type “-dx11” and close the tab.

Disable NVIDIA Overlay

- Maximum Size (MB): 49152
- if your PC installed RAM is 32GB, then enter the value as follow:
- Initial Size (MB): 49152
- Maximum Size (MB): 98304
- if your PC installed RAM is 8GB, then enter the value as follow:
- Initial Size (MB): 12288
- Maximum Size (MB): 24576
- Click Set and then OK.
Solution 15: Uninstall and re-install Bodycam
