This article describes how to fix the error ‘Not able to create/update the Dsset Key without the corresponding NS record’ when adding the DSSET key for a FortiGSLB’s DNS Service.

Solution
FortiGSLB will prompt the error if the DS record in the respective DSSET key does not have a respective NS record for the domain specified in the DS record in the respective DNS Service.
For this article example, when trying to add test.example.me DSSET key to the example.me’s DNS Service and trying to Save the configuration, there is the following error:
Not able to create/update the Dsset Key without the corresponding NS record.
As per the error information, it is necessary to create an NS record (minimum 1 NS record) for the test.example.me.
After adding the NS record accordingly, it is possible to re-add back the DSSET key for test.example.me.
