This article describes how to troubleshoot why certain emails do not add a disclaimer even though the disclaimer insertion setting has been selected ‘All message’.

Solution
Step 1: Make sure to check that the disclaimer setting has been configured correctly such as the Incoming/Outgoing has been enabled. If the ‘Enable disclaimer exclusion list’ is enabled, make sure the email is not matching with the ‘Disclaimer Exclusion List’.
Step 2: Check on the disclaimer message also has been enabled for ‘Add content’ and the disclaimer message has been added in the table.
Step 3: Verify the ‘Disclaimer insertion’ has been selected for ‘All message’.
Step 4: If all the settings for the disclaimer have been configured correctly, check on the sample email. Get the sample email and check if the email is digitally signed. Usually, the digitally signed email will show ‘Signed By’ and can check on the Signed By details.
Step 5: This is by design if the email is a digitally signed email, the disclaimer message will not be added.
