How to Edit Persistent Agent MSI via Orca

This article describes how to edit the Persistent Agent MSI package via the Microsoft Orca tool so that it can be deployed without requiring additional registry key changing via GPO.

Solution

Step 1: Install Microsoft Orca.

Step 2: Download the Persistent Agent MSI package on the local PC.

Download the Persistent Agent MSI package on the local PC.

Step 3: Open the MSI package via Orca.

Step 4: Type FortiNAC FQDN in the homeServer field.

Step 5: Save the MSI.

Step 6: Install the MSI package on a test PC and confirm if the homeServer registry entry has the FQDN.
