How to configure FortiMail to get updates from FortiManager

This article describes how to use FortiManager to provide FortiGuard license and updates to FortiMail.

Configuration on the FortiManager

Step 1: Enable the Administrative Domain setting under the Dashboard Settings:

Step 2: Under the Network Interface settings, enable the FortiGuard Updates and Web Filtering Services on the interface.

Step 3: Under the FortiGuard Settings, enable Antivirus and IPS Service for FortiMail.

Step 4: Navigate to the Advanced View in the top-right corner.

Step 5: Under System -> FortiGuard -> Antivirus, enable the override server and specify the FortiManager’s IP Address.
