This article describes that while trying to add FortiGate into FortiManager via FortiGate’s Central Management, the FortiGate by default will be listed under Unauthorized Devices in the root ADOM.
The requirement might be to add/authorize the FortiGate into a specific ADOM other than the root ADOM.
Scope
FortiManager.
Solution
Go to root ADOM > Select Unauthorized Devices > Select the FortiGate > Select Authorize.
While authorized, select the ADOM from the list that wants to authorize the FortiGate.
