Fix 1: Try A Force Restart
If your Stream Deck is powered on but unresponsive, you can force a restart by following these steps:
- Normal Models: Hold the power button down for 4 seconds.
- OLED Models: Hold the power button down for 7 seconds.
If the Stream Deck remains unresponsive after the initial restart attempt, follow these steps:
- Normal Models: Hold the power button down for a full 10 seconds.
- OLED Models: Hold the power button down for 16 seconds.
Fix 2: USB Compatibility Issue
Some users have reported that switching from USB 3.0 to USB 2.0 resolved the problem with the Stream Deck not responding.
- If your Stream Deck is currently connected to a USB 3.0 port, safely disconnect it from the port.
- Locate a USB 2.0 port on your computer.
- Plug the Stream Deck into the USB 2.0 port on your computer.
Fix 3: Restart Your Steam Deck
- Press the Steam button located below the left touchpad to open the Steam menu.
