How to fix Pixel camera over processing problem

Problem

Pixel phones boast excellent cameras, and the latest upgrade, Ultra HDR, enhances images with brighter highlights and more vibrant colors. However, some users find this feature excessively bright, especially in low-light conditions, making images challenging to view. Additionally, certain third-party gallery apps don’t support Ultra HDR images, prompting users to disable it.

Solution: Disable Ultra HDR

  1. Open the Camera app and tap the Settings icon at the bottom left.
  2. Tap “More Settings” at the bottom right, then select “Advanced.”
  3. Scroll down and toggle off the “Ultra HDR” option.

Disable Ultra HDR in Pixel camera advanced settings

By following these steps, you can easily disable Ultra HDR on your Pixel camera, ensuring images are captured without this enhanced processing. If you need further assistance, feel free to ask in the comments.
