How to fix networking connection failed to start due to HUENEME NEGEV error in CoD Black Ops 6 on PS5?

How to fix networking connection failed to start due to HUENEME NEGEV error in CoD Black Ops 6 on PS5?

Solution 1: Restart PS5

  1. Press and hold Power button on the console and select Power off.
  2. Unplug all the wires.
  3. Wait for few seconds and press the Power button again. It will remove any remaining power and will clear your system cache.
  4. Now, plug-in all the wires and turn on PS5 and check if the error is fixed or not.

Solution 2: Delete game data and cache

Note: Make sure to backup the saved data to prevent inexpected game progress loss.

  1. Go to Settings > Saved Data and Game/App Settings.
  2. Select Saved Data (PS5) and navigate to Console Storage > Delete.
  3. Choose Black Ops 6, then select Delete > OK.
  4. Restart your console and try again.

Solution 3: Restore licenses

  1. On PS5, go to Settings.
  2. Click on Users and Accounts.
  3. Scroll down and go to Other and go to Restore Licenses.
  4. Select Call of Duty game and then select Restore.
  5. Select Yes to confirm.
  6. After this, check problem solved or not.

Solution 4: Change console language

  1. Open PS5 Settings and navigate to System.
  2. Go to Language section, then try changing it from English to French or any other language.
  3. Now, launch game and play for few minutes, then change language back to English.

Solution 5: Sign out and sign in again

  1. Sign out from PlayStation Network account. Go to Settings > Users and Accounts > Other > Sign Out.
  2. Wait for few minutes and then Sign In back and check.

Tip: If you have another (secondary) account then login with that and check if that works.

Solution 6: Switch WiFi frequency

  1. Go to PS5 Settings > Network.
  2. Go to Settings > Set up Internet Connection.
  3. Press the Options button. In Wi-Fi Frequency switch to either 5 GHz or 2.4 GHz.
  4. See which one work best to fix the issue.

Solution 7: Change DNS server

  1. Open PlayStation Settings and navigate to Network > Set up Internet Connection. Choose your internet type and select your internet connection when prompted.
  2. Then select Custom and choose Automatic option for the IP address.
  3. Choose Do Not Specify for DHCP Host Name, In the DNS Settings choose Manual and enter the Primary DNS as 1.1.1.1 and Secondary DNS as 1.0.0.1.
  4. You can also use 8.8.8.8 as the Primary and 8.8.4.4 as the Secondary DNS.
  5. For the Proxy Server choose Do Not Use. Check if it solves the problem or not.
