How do I customize keyboard shortcuts in Brave

Brave, the latest web browser, now features built-in options for customizing hotkeys following a summer 2023 update. Here’s how to personalize Brave’s hotkeys:

1. Open Brave and enter brave://settings/ into the browser’s URL bar.
2. Click “System” on the left side of Brave’s Settings tab.
3. Choose the “Shortcuts” option.
4. Click the “Add” button for a Brave browser action.
5. Press a key combination for your custom hotkey.
6. Click “Save” to assign the key combination to the chosen action.

Note: Existing hotkeys in Brave cannot be modified directly. To change a hotkey, delete it and recreate it. To delete a keyboard shortcut, hover over it and click the – button.
