This article describes how to remove a ‘Retrieving Log Snapshot’ task notification that persists even after the task is complete.

Scope

FortiNAC v9.4, v7.2, v7.4.

Solution

After retrieving a log snapshot, an issue may occur where the following notification lingers even after the task has completed:

To remove the notification:

  1. Navigate to System > Tasks.
  2. Filter for ‘Retrieveing Log Snapshot‘.
  3. Select the task and select ‘Delete‘.
