Check Discord Service Status

  1. Visit Discord Status site.
  2. Check for the All Systems Operational.

Change Internet Connection

You can connect computer to a mobile hotspot connection and check if that fixes the issue. If it does, it means that you need to sort out internet connection.

Change DNS Settings

Reconfigure DNS settings point to Google Public DNS (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4).

  1. Press Windows + R to open the Run prompt then type in ncpa.cpl and press Enter.
  2. Right-click on the internet connection and select Properties.
  3. Double-click on the Internet Protocol Version 4(IPV4) option and check the Use the Following DNS Server Addresses option.
  4. Enter 8.8.8.8 as Preferred DNS Server and 8.8.4.4 as Alternate DNS Server.
  5. Click OK to save the settings and try to chat on Discord.
