Solution 1: Update Windows
Step 1: Check for updates and install the latest Windows Updates.
Solution 2: Uninstall IDT Audio Panel
Step 2: Hold Windows key and press R.
Step 3: Type devmgmt.msc and press Enter.
Step 4: Locate and double click Sound, video and game controllers.
Step 5: Locate and right click IDT audio panel or IDT High Definition CODEC.
Step 6: Select Uninstall and follow any additional on-screen instructions.
Solution 3: Delete or Rename IDTNC64.cpl
Step 7: Hold Windows key and press E.
Step 8: Type C:\Windows\System32
in the address bar (located at the top mid) and press Enter.
Step 9: Locate the file IDTNC64.cpl
Step 10: Right click IDTNC64.cpl and select Rename.
Step 11: Rename the IDTNC64.cpl to anything you want but we will suggest renaming it IDTNC64.oldcpl.
Solution 4: Disable Windows Error Reporting Service
Step 12: Hold Windows key and press R.
Step 13: Type msconfig
and press Enter.
Step 14: Select the Services tab.
Step 15: Locate and uncheck Windows Error Reporting Service.
Step 16: Click Apply then select Ok.
Step 17: You should be able to see a date in the Disable Date column.
Solution 5: Open Control Panel via Run
Step 18: Hold Windows Key and press R.
Step 19: Type appwiz.cpl
and press Enter.
Step 20: This will open the Uninstall or change program screen of Control Panel
Step 21: Type Control panel\all control panel items\
in the address bar.
Step 22: You should be able to see a list of control panel controls. Select any of the options from the drop down list to open the page.
