Google allows for live captions to be added to the video playing on Android phones. This is useful, especially when viewing videos in a language you are not familiar with or are suffering from some form of hearing impairment. Google Live Captions use the same technology as Youtube to provide closed captions on a video. Follow the following steps to enabling Google Live Captions feature.
Google Live Caption on Android
Step 1: Go to the Settings page on the Android phone.
Step 2: Scroll down the list of options until the Accessibility section and tap on it.

Step 3: Search through the various options until the Caption Preferences option.

Step 4: Toggle On Use Captions option.

Step 5: Additionally, you can customize the style and presentation of the captions using the below options:
- Language: This lets you choose which language to translate the video into.
- Text Size: You can choose to have the captions show up in a range of sizes, from very small to very large.
- Captions Style: This controls the look of the captions, and the colors used for the caption letters and the background for the letters.
Step 6: Google Live Captions feature is now active. Whenever you watch a video on your Android phone, live captions will automatically display at the bottom of the screen.
