Set up Continuum for Windows 10 Phones Using Wired Dock

1. Plug the dock into a power outlet.
2. If you’re connecting to a TV, make sure the TV’s input is set to HDMI.
3. Plug the dock into the HDMI port on your TV or monitor.
4. Plug your phone into the dock. (You might need to unlock your phone to get connected.)

Set up Continuum for Windows 10 Phones Using Wireless Adapter

1. Plug the adapter into a power outlet.
2. If you’re connecting to a TV, make sure the TV’s input is set to HDMI.
3. Plug the adapter into the HDMI port on your TV or monitor.
4. On your phone, from Start > Continuum.
5. Select Set up > Wireless adapter > Connect.
6. On the Connect screen, select the name of the wireless adapter.

Set up Continuum for Windows 10 Phones Using PC

1. Plug the PC into a power outlet, turn it on, and sign in.
2. Select the Start > Settings > System > Projecting to this PC > Available everywhere or Available everywhere on secure networks.
3. On your phone, from Start > Continuum.
4. Select Set up > Wireless adapter > Connect.
5. On the Connect screen, select the name of the PC.
6. When the PC prompts you to connect, select Yes. If you miss the prompt, select the action center icon (the message box icon) on the taskbar. The message should appear there.
