Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. announced live stream broadcast UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) 212 event in Brazil this weekend via virtual reality as a part of a new live VR initiative. Customers can sign up Samsung VR Live Pass and strap on Gear VR headset to watch 360-degrees virtual reality action with pre and post-event highlights as well as additional VR content.

The VR Live Pass on Gear VR events will be available through the Samsung VR app in early June, enabling Gear VR users to watch live entertainment events and performances no matter where they are.

Samsung VR Live Pass will be available through the main Samsung VR app from early June, and as an added incentive to wear the VR headset, Samsung said that the pass will be free.
Other events will begin broadcasting in June include:
- UFC 212: Aldo vs Holloway, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, June 3, 2017.
- X Games Minneapolis, USA July 13 – 16, 2017: the event includes BMX riders and skaters including Jimmy Wilkins, Chad Kerley and Jagger Eaton.
- Live Music Concert with International Artists, USA August 2017.
