Remove Internet Explorer 10 from Windows 8

The latest Windows 8 includes Internet Explorer 10 which feature with Metro style to provide fast and fluid browsing experience and navigation based on gesture. Additionally, IE 10 supported HTML5 and more hardware acceleration. Although IE 10 deliver all the great features, users may still prefer to use other third party browsers such as Google Chrome, Firefox or Opera, then you might want to remove Internet Explorer 10 completely from your Windows 8.

Below are the steps for how to remove Internet Explorer 10 from Windows 8:
Step 1: Open Run dialog box, type in appwiz.cpl and press Enter key to open Programs and Features window.

Step 2: In left pane of Programs and Features, click on Turn Windows feature on or off.

Step 3: You will see list of features included in Windows shown in Windows Features dialog. Select Internet Explorer 10 in the list and uncheck box. If you are prompted with “Turning off Internet Explorer 10 might affect other Windows features and programs installed on your computer, including default settings. Do you want to continue?” warning, click Yes and then click Ok button to apply changes.

Step 4: OK to restart your PC to remove Internet Explorer 10 from Windows 8.

Do note that uninstall Internet Explorer 10 will remove Metro IE10 also.
