When this will happen

Rollout will begin in mid-September and is expected to be complete by late September.

How this will affect your organization

The following usability updates will soon be available for your users:

Favorite cases. This update introduces the ability to mark an eDiscovery (Premium) case as a favorite on the cases list and from within the case. Favorited cases can be accessed quickly via the eDiscovery (Premium) Overview page or can be sorted to be shown at the top of the cases list for ease of access.

View state persistence. With this update, list pages will support user configuration including search, sort, filter, and group by. Additionally, the user-configured session list state is remembered so users can continue their work with the same list state after logging back in to a new session.

Auto-refresh job status. We’re also introducing an auto-refresh capability of in-list fields such as job status. With this change, without using the “Refresh” button on the page or refreshing the browser, the status of the job will automatically refresh as the job changes state.

Common collection actions. Within the collection list page, you’ll see easier access to common collection operations such as re-run collection estimate and commit collection directly.

What you need to do to prepare

You might want to notify your users about these usability experience updates, and revise any related training and documentation as needed.
