Home > MC423709: Yammer REST API Modification: User Email
Microsoft will be modifying the Yammer REST APIs for the email field in the user response.
When this will happen
Microsoft will begin rolling this out in early September and complete by mid-September.
How this will affect your organization
For b2b users, data export will start returning the email as the primary email registered in the resource tenant, also known as the email that the b2b guest was invited with. Previously, the email field would return the primary email address of the b2b user in their home tenant.
What you need to do to prepare
No precautionary measures need to be taken for this change.
