MC420351: Microsoft Purview | Communication Compliance: Analyze policy matches over Teams shared channels (GA)

Currently available in public preview, the Communication Compliance solution in the Microsoft Purview compliance portal will analyze compliance-related policy matches over Teams shared channels (cross-tenant channels spanning multiple organizations). This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 93261.

Communication Compliance is integrated with Teams shared channels (cross-tenant channels), with the ability to detect policy matches, such as sharing of adult content, that are sent to or received from users outside the host team or tenancy. Microsoft Purview Communication Compliance helps organizations detect explicit code of conduct and regulatory compliance violations, such as harassing or threatening language, sharing of adult content, and inappropriate sharing of sensitive information. Built with privacy by design, usernames are pseudonymized by default, role-based access controls are built in, investigators are explicitly opted in by an admin, and audit logs are in place to ensure user-level privacy.
