MC397458: Outlook Mac now supports retention Policy

Use retention policies in Outlook for Mac to apply a policy to your messages in your mailbox. Retention policies define how long your messages will be saved. This update will only work in the new Outlook for Mac. This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 88849.

We will begin rolling out June 2022 and expect to complete by end of August 2022 (previously end of July 2022).

How this will affect your organization

If you already defined the retention policy on your tenant and use that in Outlook Windows and Outlook on the web, now you could see them available in New Outlook for Mac on the message list view context menu and message item context menu.
