Questions & Answers (Q&A) in Yammer will soon include the ability for users to upvote answers that they find helpful and appropriate. Upvoting answers helps crowdsource useful answers and rank them higher in the thread. This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 65760.
This feature will allow people upvote answers that they find useful and appropriate. It will be available for questions both in communities and live events.
When this will happen
We expect this rollout to begin in mid-March and expect the rollout to be fully completed by early April.
How this will affect your organization
Users will now be able to vote up responses on Q&A posts in Yammer communities. By voting, helpful answers will be ranked higher in the responses.
Upvoting results will not appear in Yammer’s live event feed or Teams Q&A.
NOTE: This feature will be on by default and cannot be disabled.
What you need to do to prepare
Inform Yammer users of this coming capability and update your documentation as needed.
