Microsoft will be making some changes to Teams Direct Routing.
Note: Starting on May 10, 2022 (previously April 5, 2022), Direct Routing will stop processing SIP requests which have Replaces headers.
When will this happen
We will begin rolling this out in mid-December and expect to complete by late December.
How this will affect your organization
When this change is implemented, Direct Routing will reject SIP requests that have Replaces headers defined.
When this change is implemented, Direct Routing will reject SIP requests that have Replaces headers defined. This will impact requests coming from Session Border Controller to Direct Routing. SIP requests that have Replaces headers coming from Direct Routing To the Session Border Controller will remain as is.
What you need to do to prepare
Please check your Session Border Controller configuration and be sure that you are not using Replaces headers in SIP requests.
