MC297254: Classic site collection usage reports moved to a new link

We previously announced in MC244687 (March ’21) that we were relocating classic usage and popularity reports in the SharePoint admin center classic site collection settings. We have now completed this change and apologize for the delay.

MC297254: Classic site collection usage reports moved to a new link

When this will happen

This change has been rolled out.

How this will affect your organization

SharePoint site administrations will no longer be able to access Popularity and search reports found in Classic Site Collection Home > Site settings > Site Collection Administration > Popularity and Search Reports.

The information in these reports will be included in a new set of reports in Site Collection Administration. In addition, daily reports currently display 14 days of data; we are increasing this to 31 days.

The new reports will be available under Classic Site Collection Home > Site settings > Site collection administration > Microsoft Search > Configure search settings > Insights.

What you need to do to prepare

Share this information with anyone who reviews the SharePoint classic site collection usage reports.
