We’re expanding Play My Emails on Outlook for iOS and Android to Brazilian Portuguese. This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 85664.

Play My Emails in Outlook for iOS now supports playing your emails in Brazilian Portuguese for users in Brazil. This is in addition to our support of English speaking users.

MC292396: Outlook for iOS and Android: Play My Emails available in Brazilian Portuguese

Affected Workloads

  • Exchange Online

When this will happen

We will begin rolling this out in mid-January (previously mid-November) and expect to complete rollout late February (previously late January).

How this will affect your organization

The Play My Emails feature will help users who speak Brazilian Portuguese catch up on what’s new in their inbox so they can get time back in their day. With a natural voice, intelligent readout, and language recognition, Cortana can read out new emails and share changes to peoples’ day without having to look at a screen.

What do you need to do to prepare

You might want to notify your users about this new capability and update your training and documentation as appropriate.
