Previously, embedded community feeds did not surface the community name, description, or ability to join. In an effort to give users more context and ability to engage deeper with the feeds, we are adding the community name, description, and ability to join/leave at the top of the community feeds by default. When clicked, the community name will take users to the community page in Yammer. This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 84955.
Affected Workloads
- Yammer Enterprise
When this will happen
We expect this rollout to begin in late July and expect the rollout to be completed in early August.
How this will affect your organization
Embedded Yammer (Yammer Embeds) community feeds will now include the community name, description, and ability to join/leave at the top of the community feeds by default. When clicked, the community name will take users to the community page in Yammer.
What you need to do to prepare
To hide the community header, visit https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2165796, select the community you’d like to embed, and toggle the Include community information at top of feed option OFF, and then retrieve and embed your new code.
