MC267966: Communication Compliance cross tenant classifier feedback to Microsoft

Coming soon to public preview, cross tenant feedback in Communication Compliance enables you to provide feedback to Microsoft on misclassified messages (such as false positives) to help us improve the accuracy of the built-in trainable classifiers. This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 81972.

MC267966: Communication Compliance cross tenant classifier feedback to Microsoft

Affected Workloads

  • Microsoft 365 suite

When this will happen

Rollout will begin in mid-July and is expected to be complete by late August.

How this will affect your organization

Cross tenant feedback enables you to provide feedback on messages that were misclassified (such as false positives) by a Communication Compliance policy leveraging any of the built-in classifiers (Threat, Harassment, Profanities, Discrimination).

From within the Communication Compliance solution in the Microsoft 365 compliance center, select a policy leveraging trainable classifiers and click on Report as misclassified. Resolving the item as misclassified sends message content, attachments, and the message subject (including metadata) to Microsoft to help improve trainable classifiers.

What you need to do to prepare

By default, global administrators do not have access to Communication Compliance features.

To enable permissions for Communication Compliance features, see Make Communication Compliance available in your organization.

You might want to notify appropriate users about this new capability and update your training and documentation as needed.
