MC261353: PDF Viewing Nighttime Reading Mode for OneDrive on Android

Users of OneDrive for Android will be able to change the appearance of PDFs in three main color modes which are day mode, night mode and sepia to enhance viewing. With 3 new color modes for viewing PDFs—day, night, and sepia—users have more control over the appearance of PDFs and how much blue light they see. When this will happen

We will begin rolling this out to the Google Play Store in early June and expect to complete rollout by mid-July (previously early July).

How this will affect your organization

To use the new nighttime reading mode:

Step 1: Open a PDF in OneDrive for Android.

Step 2: Tap to expand the bottom sheet of the screen.

Step 3: Tap Appearance.

Step 4: In the Appearance window, select the colored circle for day, night, or sepia mode.

You might want to notify your users about this new capability and update your training and documentation as appropriate.
