Google finally revealed the name of Android 6.0 release, Marshmallow. Google Android 6.0 Marshmallow focus more toward efficiency in resources, particularly memory, battery and supporting technologies like fingerprint scanners. New Apps Permission model introduced which allows users to toggle specific permissions on and off.

Aug 27, 2015 – Google developers add Runtime Permissions in time for Android 6.0 Marshmallow, apps are now allowed to individually control what context and when a user will ask for permissions, each app can now ask for runtime permissions only as needed, expected to improve user experience of the app because every design, every text, or message prompt matters.
