FortyCloud Protect your Public Cloud

FortyCloud is a cloud-based Network Firewall as a Services offering in Rackspace Marketplace. FortyCloud is a comprehensive security solution for Rackspace and hybrid cloud deployments.

All important IT security elements, like AAA, VPN, encryption and firewall, are packaged together in the FortyCloud solution and delivered in SaaS model. FortyCloud solution makes public cloud private by building a new virtual private network over your Cloud deployment. This private network uses private and consistent IP addressing and encrypted communication, and is therefore unreachable from any other network. FortyCloud enables you to define and enforce the access rights to your Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) network by using authentication, authorization and firewall technologies.

With FortyCloud, the Gateway cluster is the only entry-points to your cloud network. All employees or contractors (remote users) accessing your cloud servers will have their identity authenticated at the Gateways. Thin Agents, installed on every cloud server enforce the configured security policies on the virtual server itself. The Agent facilitates the construction of secured and encrypted communication links (based on IPsec VPN) with the other servers in its data-center and with the VPC Gateways. The web Admin Console allows you to monitor and configure User information, Roles and Access Policies, as well as bringing up new servers.

FortyCloud is completely scalable, easy to set-up and cloud independent. FortyCloud is also available in AWS Marketplace and can secure any AWS configuration: plain EC2, VPC on single or multiple regions. The solution is available in small, medium, large, unlimited price packages, classified on the basis of the instances and number of VPN users.

FortyCloud includes all the ingredients to secure your public cloud deployment by managing security end-to-end: VPN, firewall, servers and networking. Check out the trial versions to validate the offering.
