Final Fantasy XV Windows and Royal Edition Release on 6 March 2018

Square Enix has announced Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition (for PC), Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition and the Final Fantasy XV Royal Pack (both for Xbox One and PlayStation 4) will release on 6th March 2018 for consoles. Both FFXV editions will feature all updates to the game such as the recently added ability to switch between playable characters.

Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition coming 6th March 2018, boasts a wealth of bonus content including content contained in free updates to the console versions as well as paid downloadable content originally available through the Season Pass. Supporting high-resolution options and compatible with native 4K resolution and HDR 10.

Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition will retail for $49.99 in the US with various preorder incentives. Preordering through Windows Store will receive Powerup Pack designed to improve combat performance, while Steam preorders net the Fashion Collection provides a range of additional outfits for the boys. Origin preorders get the Decal selection provides decals for the team’s trusty car/airship the Regalia.

Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition includes:

  • An all-new dungeon – Insomnia City Ruins: Expanded Map
  • New features such as first person mode, new gear, and new bosses.
  • Armiger Unleashed – after you collect all 13 royal arms, a more action-oriented mode of the Armiger is unlocked
  • Royal Vessel – the boat from FFXV is now a controllable vehicle. The same body of water (between Cape Caem and Altissia) can now be freely explored.
  • All season pass content – Episode Gladiolus, Episode Prompto, Multiplayer Expansion: Comrades, and Episode Ignis.
  • Over a dozen pieces of DLC, including weapons, Regalia car skins, and item sets.
  • Supports native 4K (maximum 8K) resolution and HDR10
  • Mod support
  • High-resolution compatible display required for 4K/8K
  • Windows 10 Creators Update compatible display required for HDR10

FINAL FANTASY XV ROYAL EDITION will be available worldwide on March 6, 2018, acked with add-on content and new features. Join Prince Noctis and his closest friends as they fight against the empire in an effort to take back their fallen kingdom.

Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition will retail for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 at $49.99, physical version will feature new box art from the series’ legendary artist Yoshitaka Amano. Final Fantasy XV Royal Pack will be available March 6 on the Xbox and PlayStation Stores for $19.99. This downloadable pack will upgrade the base game to match the Royal Edition.
