ASIC Files Criminal Charges Against Members Equity Bank. ME bank made “false or misleading” representations in home loan customer communications and failed to give timely notice of changes to the loan terms.

CSRC Chongqing Bureau Director Removed for Corruption. The CCDI and CSRC said corruption and bribery ran throughout Mao Bihua’s career. The case has been referred to prosecutors.

ASIC Files Federal Court Suit Against AMP Companies. ASIC has taken court action against AMP for charging deceased customers insurance premiums and advice fees. AMP has already remediated the impacted customers.

Atomic swaps between monero (XMR) and bitcoin (BTC) went live on mainnet. “With atomic swaps, online users trade cryptocurrencies without needing to trust each other or anyone else. Monero atomic swaps are made possible by new technologies and concepts and are being implemented by multiple teams, including a community funded software project called Farcaster and an algorithmically similar effort by the COMIT team,” according to Monero Outreach.
