You can lose a lot of money quickly with pay-per-click marketing if you don’t know what you’re doing. So following are a couple of things to consider. If both of them fall into place, then by all means, try PPC marketing.
2 Things to Consider Before Starting a Pay Per Click Campaign
Your Ad Budget: The beautiful thing about PPC marketing is that you don’t have to spend a lot to see results. In fact, you can start a PPC campaign for way less than a hundred bucks; really $50. A lot depends on your niche though. But if you learn the nuances of how to bid, you can get great results from a modest budget.
Before you dive into PPC, take the time to read Google’s Cost and Payment section. It is brief and is a great starting point (you should do more in-depth research if you’re new to PPC) to learning about how to price, bid, set a budget, etc.
Marketing Tip: No matter which type of marketing you indulge in, remember to only do marketing you can afford to repeat. Prospects have to see your ad 7 to 28 times, depending on which source you read, before they will act. So, if you run a PPC campaign for a week or even a month, it might not be long enough to assess whether it’s a good marketing option for you.
Whenever I buy advertising, I try to do at least three months. That’s usually long enough to give me some concrete stats to make some reasonable assessments.

While it is possible to find Office documents and PDF ebooks on the web using the filetype search operator of Google, this method has two drawbacks:
1. You need to download the document in order to view the contents as Google, for some reason, doesn’t provide the “View as HTML” function for all documents in search results.
2. The search syntax may sometimes get a bit complex especially when you want to search documents of multiple file extensions in the same query (example: invoice template filetype:doc OR filetype:pdf OR filetype:xls).
Enter DocJax – it’s a new document search engine built on top of search results aggregated from Yahoo and Google. DocJax will simultaneously search for documents of all popular formats (PDF, DOC, XLS and PPT) or you may limit results to any one of these file formats.

A new Firefox extension aptly named Flash Game Maximizer is a must-have for any Flash game enthusiast. It does one thing, and does it well: letting you toggle between standard- and full-screen modes on any game–regardless of whether it has been coded with such an option.
Considering that Flash games are hosted all over the place, and rarely with a ubiquitous user interface, you’re likely to run into a good number of them that must be played in whatever space they’ve been given on a Web page. With Flash Game Maximizer, however, you don’t have to worry about this at all.
