[Solved] How Do I Set Monitor Display Screen Native Resolution in Windows and Mac

Monitors’ LCD panel is made up of tiny cells (pixels) in matrix / grid (native resolution). If native resolution of monitor is listed as 1680 × 1050, this mean 1680 pixels across and 1050 pixels down the screen. So, if the native resolution is set to 1024 × 768, then image / picture / text is being “stretched” over multiple pixels which is the causes of image quality to degrade and why text is unclear. [Solved] Behringer USB Audio Mixer with Mac OS X Not Working “The selected device has no input controls”

Problem: Can’t get audio in and out at the same time when plug Behringer USB Audio Mixer device such as Behringer U-Phoria UM2 into MacBook Pro. “The selected device has no input controls.” message show in Sound Input setting.

Class-compliant driver in Behringer USB mixers may not work properly with Mac OS X. It show as two separate drivers, one driver contains audio inputs and another driver contains audio outputs. You’ll need to create an aggregate device in Mac OS X using Audio MIDI Setup in order to use input and output simultaneously.

Nik Collection Filters Crash Photoshop on macOS High Sierra

Problem: Nik Collection filters will crash Photoshop on the laptop with High Sierra. This issue is easy to reproduce, Nik Collection filters crashes immediately when trying to save the results of the filter back to the Adobe Photoshop’s layer stack.

The official reply from DxO support about this issue on Nov 15, 2017 as below

We are proud to have added the Nik Collection to the DxO family starting October 25, 2017.
This acquisition is recent, so we do not yet support the various plug-ins of the Nik Collection in their original version.
